When version 1.6 of Honkai: Star Rail dropped back in late 2023, the Herta Space Station suddenly felt a lot bigger. The Seclusion Zone opened its doors as a strange new wing filled with flickering lights, dormant research equipment, and more Swarm bugs than any researcher would be comfortable with. Even now in 2026, explorers retracing the Trailblazer's steps can still feel that thrill of piecing together a forgotten section of the station, much like cracking open a dusty tome only to find a hidden chapter.
What makes this area special isn't just the eerie atmosphere. Scattered across floors F2 and F3 are thirteen treasure chests, one elusive Warp Trotter, a mind-bending light-path puzzle, and a beefy elite enemy squad. Floor F1 is solely reserved for the then-new Echo of War: Starcrusher Swarm King, so all the treasure hunting happens on the upper levels. The layout is surprisingly linear, but some chests cling to the shadows like barnacles on a spaceship hull—easy to miss if you blink.

F3: Two Quick Grabs Before Descending
Start at the central teleport waypoint on F3. Immediately head northeast up a short staircase and peek behind a large monitor panel on the balcony. The first chest sits there like a shy cat watching the corridor below. From this spot, cross the bridge going west, then descend one level. Follow the western corridor all the way to the end; a door slides open automatically as you approach, revealing the second chest on the left. These two are the easiest wins before the real grind begins.
F2: The Main Haul (Chests 3 through 12)
Teleport to the southwestern waypoint on F2. The third chest waits right before a staircase that leads down to where a Herta clone stands—can't miss it, it's practically tapping your shoulder. After grabbing it, go down those stairs and take the door on the right. At the far end of the wide corridor, past a swarm monster, lies chest number four, nestled like a forgotten lunchbox behind a desk leg.
Backtrack to the same teleporter and now follow the corridor north. Just before a pair of Swarm bugs, the fifth chest rests on the right side of a dead-end turn. Plow through the bugs, and the next door opens onto a bridge. On the left side of that bridge, before descending again, sits chest six. Head down only one flight of stairs, open the door right ahead, and you'll see the seventh chest glowing behind a set of glass doors—like a distant lighthouse beacon through fog.
Now comes the only part that might require a minor detour. The eighth chest sits behind a gated room in the northeastern section of F2. If you've already unlocked the gate during the story quest, simply warp to the northeastern teleporter, face west, open the gate, and there it is among a cluster of helper robots. If the gate is still locked, you'll need to snake through the map: go fully downstairs first, loop around from the western teleporter, and follow the corridor until you unlock the control panel from the other side. This route also happens to reveal the Warp Trotter.

The ninth chest appears near that same temporarily closed gate inside a square-shaped room on the northeast corridor. The tenth, eleventh, and twelfth chests are a bit more straightforward but still demand a keen eye: one lies behind yet another Swarm monster patrol, another is tucked in the shadow of a broken experiment, and the last one sits in plain sight on the lower corridor's edge. Think of the Seclusion Zone's chest placement as a lazy scatter of puzzle pieces—obvious once you know the picture, maddening when you don't.
Special Rewards: Bountiful Chests and the Warp Trotter
Two Bountiful Chests demand a little extra effort. The first comes from defeating a squad of elite Swarm enemies; it's a straightforward battle check that rewards you with a trove of Stellar Jade and upgrade materials. The second Bountiful Chest hides behind a light-path puzzle. To solve it, step onto the glowing panels starting from the right side, walk all the way forward until you hit the edge, then turn left. Move two panels down, go left again, one panel down, left, and finally two panels up. The sequence resembles threading a needle in the dark—one wrong step and you must restart, but the reward is worth the patience.
The Warp Trotter is the crown jewel for collectors. It scurries around the northern side of F2, just past the door leading to that tenth chest. If you haven't opened the door from the western side yet, you'll meet the Trotter while taking the long way around. Remember, it won't be alone; you'll fight Swarm enemies alongside it, so bring a party with decent AoE. Defeating the trotter grants 60 Stellar Jade plus extra goodies—a tiny but satisfying payday.
Even though years have passed since the Seclusion Zone's debut, these treasures remain unchanged. The area serves as a time capsule of Honkai: Star Rail's early expansion, a reminder that careful exploration often rewards more than rushing through the main quest. So whether you're a veteran clearing your backlog or a new player chasing every last stellar jade, sweeping this map feels like polishing a dusty gem—each chest adds a little sparkle to your inventory.
